Catch the Crumb privacy notice

Effective September 6, 2026. This notice covers Catch the Crumb from Pigeons of New York on iOS and at pigeonsofnewyork.wtf.

Information on your device

The game stores your best score, local score history, chosen pigeon, practice completion, sound/haptics settings, and the initials you enter on your device. No account is required. Removing app data or browser site data removes these local records.

Optional shared scores

When you choose Save Score, the game sends your initials, score, a random identifier for that round, and round duration to our leaderboard service. The service stores initials, score, round identifier, and submission time. Initials and scores appear on the public daily and all-time leaderboards. Do not use sensitive information as initials.

Hosting and technical information

Netlify hosts the website and shared leaderboard. Requests can expose technical information such as IP address, request time, and browser/device request headers to the hosting provider for service delivery, security, and operational logs. The current web game also requests fonts from Google Fonts, which receives technical request information. We do not include advertising SDKs or behavioral analytics SDKs in this game.

Sharing and haptics

Sharing is initiated by you through your device’s sharing controls. Score cards are created locally; the iOS app temporarily stores a PNG in its cache so you can share it. The receiving app or service handles information under its own policies. Haptics do not require personal information.

Retention and requests

Local records remain until removed or replaced. Submitted leaderboard records may remain in our service until removed; they are not automatically deleted when you remove the app. For questions, corrections, or deletion requests, contact admin@projct212.xyz with the initials, score, and approximate submission date. We may need additional details to identify an entry. Provider operational logs are subject to the provider’s retention practices.

Children and changes

No account, chat, or personal profile is required. Avoid including a real name or other personal information in initials. Parents or guardians can contact us about an entry. We will update this notice when the game’s data practices change.
